HCA KENDALL EAST TOWER RENOVATION

Edge Construction is currently refurbishing Floors 2 through 5 at HCA Kendall Hospital’s East Tower. This 73,000 SF project consists of (117) Patient Rooms, (19) Corridors, (13) Behavioral Health Rooms, (10) Public Restrooms, (4) Nurse Stations, (3) Dictation Rooms and (1) Telemetry Room.

Scope of Work: The scope of work being completed on all floors consists of new flooring, wall finishes, doors, casework, ceilings, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures and piping. The scope also includes reconfiguring casework and ceilings for central core nurse stations.

Multi-Phased: As this project is in an active area, the schedule is broken into (22) phases. Each phase consists of a complete renovation to (16) patient rooms. Corridors and nurse stations were completed in the initial phase of the project. This phasing plan has allowed patient care to continue without interruption. 

Project Schedule: This project began in 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
